/help command in Minecraft

/help lists the commands you are allowed to use, or shows every form of one command. It is the quickest way to check a syntax in game, and it works for every player, with or without cheats.

Two ways to use it

help alone lists every command available to you with its short syntax. help give shows each form of /give, with optional parts in square brackets and choices separated by |. The list depends on your permission level: without cheats, you only see commands such as /msg, /me or /teammsg.

Common error

Unknown command or insufficient permissions means the name is wrong or your level is too low for that command. Check the spelling, or ask an operator.
