Pan Cape
A free cape that every Minecraft player now owns, styled as a stack of pancakes.
Everyone has itTexture from Mojang’s official servers, rendered by Blockaria.
How to get it
You already have it. Bedrock Edition gave it to all players with version 1.16.0, and since May 2025 it is also on every Java Edition account. Equip it from the Skins section of the Minecraft Launcher.
To wear a cape on Java Edition, open the Minecraft Launcher, go to Skins and pick it under Capes. On Bedrock Edition, use the Dressing Room.
Design
A pile of buttered pancakes dripping with syrup on a white plate, set against a light blue background. The name is a pun on the pan the pancakes come from.
