The Small Amethyst Bud is the first stage that appears on budding amethyst, barely glowing at level 1. Amethyst buds and clusters grow on budding amethyst inside geodes, and only the full cluster gives amethyst shards when mined. It is mined with a pickaxe. It gives off light level 1.
