The Sculk Catalyst is the heart of sculk spread: when a creature dies nearby, sculk blooms from its body.
It cannot be crafted; it can be found in chests. It is mined with a hoe. It gives off light level 6.
What it does
Any mob that drops experience and dies within range of the catalyst makes sculk and sculk veins spread around it, sometimes with new sensors and shriekers. The experience is absorbed into the sculk instead of dropping.
Mine it with a hoe; without Silk Touch it gives experience only. Placed in a mob farm, it turns the area into a sculk field to harvest later.
