Redstone Lamp block in Minecraft
A Redstone Lamp is a light that turns on only when it receives a redstone signal.
It is made with the Crafting Table from Glowstone and 4 × Redstone Dust. It gives off light up to level 15, depending on its state.
What it does
Four Redstone Dust around a Glowstone block make one. Powered, it gives full light; unpowered, it stays dark. Connect it to a lever, a daylight detector or a circuit for lights that switch on at night or on demand.
