Calcite block set
Calcite gets a pillar, slab, stairs and wall, plus two new sets: Polished Calcite (crafted from 2×2 Calcite) and Polished Calcite Bricks (from 2×2 Polished Calcite). Every variant can also be made in the Stonecutter.
Minecraft 26.4 Snapshot 7
Released on 3 November 2026, 26.4 Snapshot 7 is the seventh test build of Minecraft 26.4 and, according to Mojang, brings the last gameplay features of the drop: a full Calcite block set, the music disc “Flurry” by Hyper Potions, found in igloo basements, and new counters to Freezing. It fixes 53 bugs.

MobsStrays now spawn in Deep Frozen Ocean, Frozen Ocean, Frozen Peaks, Frozen River, Jagged Peaks and Snowy Slopes.
GraphicsWith the Graphics API setting on Default, the game now picks OpenGL or Vulkan at random on each startup so Mojang can test both backends. This will be reverted in a later snapshot.
AccessibilityGameplay screens such as the Crafting Table can be used with the keyboard (Tab between groups of slots, arrow keys between slots) and are read out by the narrator. The Creative inventory and the Recipe Book are not supported yet.
InterfaceNew main menu panorama, a grey outline on hovered list entries, a hidden mouse cursor during keyboard navigation and purple Play buttons in the Realms menus.
TechnicalData pack 126.0 (the effect command accepts mob effect tags, debug worlds can now be edited) and resource pack 102.0.
