Petrified Oak Slab block in Minecraft
Present since 1.12.2 or earlier Mined with: pickaxe Stack size: 64
The Petrified Oak Slab looks exactly like an Oak Slab but behaves like stone.
It is mined with a pickaxe.
What it does
It needs a pickaxe to drop, does not burn, cannot fuel a furnace and resists explosions like stone. It has no recipe, does not generate anywhere and is missing from the creative inventory, so the only way to get it is a command such as /give.
Builders use it as a fireproof oak slab: a roof or floor that looks wooden but cannot catch fire from lava or lightning.
How to craft
This item has no crafting recipe.
