Trial Key item in Minecraft
A Trial Key opens a Vault in the Trial Chambers and releases its loot. You earn it by defeating the waves of a trial spawner.
It cannot be crafted; it can be found in chests.
What it does
When you beat the mobs of a trial spawner, it drops rewards for each player who took part, and a Trial Key may be among them. A few keys also hide in decorated pots and chests of the structure.
Use the key on a vault to get its rewards; the key is used up. Each vault opens only once per player, so friends in the same world each get their own loot.
Ominous trial spawners drop an Ominous Trial Key instead, which only opens ominous vaults, the ones that can give a Heavy Core.
